Step by Step
Wheels and wheel wells go first — they carry the heaviest brake dust and road grime. Cleaning them last cross-contaminates everything already washed. A high-pressure rinse removes loose surface debris before any contact wash begins.
Iron fallout remover is applied to all painted surfaces and turns purple on contact as it dissolves ferrous particles bonded into the clear coat. A clay bar pass follows, lifting remaining mechanically embedded contamination — tree sap residue, overspray, heat-bonded pollen. After this step, paint should feel like glass.
pH-neutral shampoo, two buckets with grit guards. One for washing, one for rinsing the mitt between panels. This prevents the grit that causes swirl marks from going back on the paint with every pass.
Vacuum reaches every crevice — seat rails, floor vents, under the seats. Steam cleans fabric, vents, headliner, and plastic trim.
